The local group of cyclists meet twice a month beginning in April at various trails across the region--from the North Shore of Pittsburgh to Ohiopyle. Participants ride at their own pace and distance. There is no pressure, the only goal is to enjoy the ride. Their Bike for Life shirts make them easily distinguishable on the trails. The group meets after the ride for fellowship and to share a meal together. Bike for Life leader, Ed Burd of Latrobe, keeps track of their distance. Last year, they cycled a total of 2,407 miles! Anyone is welcome to join and there is no cost.
